Practice Norwegian out loud.

A patient partner for the language everyone says is easy.

Norwegian gets called the easiest language for English speakers to learn — and on paper it is. Then you try to hold a conversation in Oslo and realize reading it and saying it are two different skills.

Por qué cuesta tanto hablar noruego con fluidez.

Norwegian has a pitch accent that changes meaning (bønder vs bønner), V2 word order that flips the sentence the moment you start with 'i dag' or 'kanskje', and dozens of dialects you'll hear on day one. And most Norwegians switch to fluent English the second you hesitate.

Glauda speaks clear, standard Bokmål and keeps speaking Norwegian however long you pause. Build the reflex for V2 word order out loud, in private, before you take it to a real 'hvordan går det?'.

De A1 a C2. Tu nivel, sin forzar la marcha.

Glauda habla al nivel que elijas. Usa vocabulario más simple y frases más cortas en A1, y el ritmo completo de un nativo en C2.

Preguntas frecuentes sobre practicar noruego.

Does Glauda speak Bokmål or Nynorsk?

Bokmål, the written standard most learners study and the one used in most courses. You can ask for Nynorsk in a custom topic, but Bokmål is the default and the most reliable.

Will I hear Norwegian dialects?

Glauda speaks a neutral, East Norwegian-leaning standard so you can build a solid base first. Real dialects (Bergen, Trøndelag, Nord-Norge) are beyond what current voice models reproduce reliably, so pair Glauda with Norwegian TV and podcasts for dialect exposure.

Should I say 'du' or 'De' to people?

'Du', to almost everyone, including your boss and in job interviews. 'De' as a polite form is old-fashioned. That's why Glauda doesn't show a formal/informal picker for Norwegian: the whole app uses 'du', like Norwegians do.
