Cookie Policy
Last updated: May 26, 2026
This page explains what cookies and similar technologies Glauda uses, why we use them, and how you can change your choices at any time.
Your choice
When you first visit Glauda you see a cookie banner with three options: Accept all, Reject all, or Customize. Strictly necessary cookies are always on because the site cannot function without them. Marketing cookies are off until you actively choose to turn them on.
You can change your mind at any time by clicking Cookie preferences at the bottom of any page. Withdrawing consent takes effect immediately for new requests; cookies already set in your browser will expire naturally or you can clear them from your browser settings.
Strictly necessary cookies (always on)
Required for sign-in and core service operation. Cannot be turned off because the site will not work without them.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
sb-access-token, sb-refresh-token | Supabase (auth) | Keeps you signed in. | Session, ~1 hour refresh |
glauda_consent_v1 | Glauda | Remembers your cookie choices so we do not ask you again on every visit. | 6 months |
Cookieless analytics (no consent needed)
Glauda uses Vercel Analytics to count page views and see roughly where the experience breaks. It does not set any cookies and does not store anything on your device, so it falls outside the ePrivacy / Garante consent requirement. We document it here for transparency.
| Provider | What it does | Cookies |
|---|---|---|
| Vercel Analytics | Counts page views and basic browser type using a short-lived rotating hash. No cross-session tracking, no personal identifiers. | None. |
See Vercel's analytics privacy notes for full details.
Marketing cookies (opt-in)
Used to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and to show Glauda to people likely to find it useful. Only loaded after you choose to allow marketing cookies.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_fbp | Meta (Facebook / Instagram) | Identifies a browser session so Meta can attribute ad clicks to actions on our site (signup, free trial). | 90 days |
_fbc | Meta | Stores the click ID from an ad you clicked, so the conversion is attributed correctly. | Up to 7 days from click |
Meta also receives the page URL you are on and standard browser information (IP address, user agent) when a tracked event fires. If you later sign up, we may share a hashed (one-way) version of your email with Meta to improve attribution accuracy. Meta is a US processor; the transfer is covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, in which Meta participates. See Meta's privacy policy and Meta's description of advertising cookies.
What we still do not use
- No Google Ads pixel, no LinkedIn Insight Tag, no TikTok pixel.
- No retargeting beyond Meta.
- No third-party analytics with cross-session identifiers (no Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Hotjar, etc.).
- No selling or sharing of your data with advertisers or data brokers.
If you do nothing
If you close the banner without choosing, we treat that as a rejection of all non-essential cookies. Nothing in the Marketing category is set or fired until you actively choose Accept all or enable Marketing in Customize.
